
If you want you dog to get use to grass while using her Ugodog. If all she has iis her Ugodog, she is going to use the Ugodog. If you prefer that she NOT use the outdoors, then do not introduce the outdoor potty schedule so early. This is a puppy that is going to potty train very quickly because she is communicating with you her need to potty outside. If she is asking to go outside, go ahead and take her outside right away. Once you start taking your puppy outside to potty, they usually prefer the grass to their Ugodog. She prefers to potty on grass and does not want to use the Ugodog. My puppy cries in her pen when she wants to go outside to potty. Play with your puppy in the evening and make sure she doesn''t spend too much time sleeping before you go to bed.

If hunger is not the problem be sure to keep your puppy active during the free time that precedes the bedtime. Also make sure your puppy is getting enough water to drink. Then I know she is getting more if she needs more. I like to give my puppy all she can eat in 10 minutes at each meal. Each puppy is individual and may go through a growth spurt. She should eat about 1/4 cup four times a day. 1/4 cup of food is not enough for a puppy. Your puppy is waking up because she is hungry. My puppy is waking up a lot at night and crying. When my puppy comes inside I let the puppy play for an hour or so. I like to set my kitchen timer for 2:30 hours every time my 8 week puppy goes potty. If you don't want to watch the clock, you can practice a similar potty schedule by letting the kitchen timer be your reminder.


Put the ugodog box nearby and your puppy will be able to potty in the Ugodog when you are not home.

Since a puppy is unable to hold his immature bladder for several hours, if you must leave your pup for many hours, then you can open the puppy's crate in a puppy pen or enclosed safe area in kitchen.
